New Shooter Practice 2026

This event is for new athletes joining the team or for current families with a new shooter joining. Please have your athlete come prepared to shoot because we will get some shooting in if weather permits. If you missed the sign-up day in January, you can swing by during this time to sign up.

About the event
Introductory and Trial Sessions for New Shooters. This event is designed for new families considering joining the team or for current families with a new shooter joining. These sessions will address the following topics:
1) Review of the Sport 2) Safety Rules 3) Getting New Shooters accustomed to shotguns
4) Get out on the field and shoot a few clay pigeons The club will have a few shotguns available to try, no need to purchase a gun if you are coming out to learn about the support. This is a free event and sign-ups for the team will be available. Safety Waivers will be required, and the child's guardian must be present for the entire time.
